Key Responsibilities
- Assist with surgeries and procedures, managing pre- and post-operative activities.
- Lead nurse appointments and schedule tasks.
- Provide top-tier patient monitoring and care.
- Oversee admissions and discharges as part of the veterinary team.
- Manage patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care facilities.
- Dispense and check medication accurately.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.
- Lead team briefings to support the smooth running of the practice.
Requirements
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Proven experience in delivering excellent patient and client care.
- Strong team player, with experience in supporting nurse consultations.
- Confident in coaching and influencing colleagues to bring out the best in the team.
