Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team in South Yorkshire. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with surgeries and procedures, managing pre- and post-operative activities.
  • Lead nurse appointments and schedule tasks.
  • Provide top-tier patient monitoring and care.
  • Oversee admissions and discharges as part of the veterinary team.
  • Manage patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care facilities.
  • Dispense and check medication accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.
  • Lead team briefings to support the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Proven experience in delivering excellent patient and client care.
  • Strong team player, with experience in supporting nurse consultations.
  • Confident in coaching and influencing colleagues to bring out the best in the team.
