Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Eden Hotel Collection. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supervising our on-property maintenance team, ensuring the maintenance of the hotel and external buildings while ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective use of staff resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with contractors and assist the Maintenance Manager with health and safety, ensuring all company, statutory, and legal regulatory requirements are met at all times.
• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that the hotel and external buildings are well-maintained and meet the required standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of the hotel and external buildings to identify any maintenance issues and develop plans to address them.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives and priorities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, health and safety regulations, and building codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., facilities management, engineering) preferred.
