About Sumo Digital, Sheffield
We are a leading game development studio with a strong focus on delivering high-quality games and innovative experiences. Our team is passionate about creating engaging multiplayer experiences, and we are looking for a skilled Live Ops Programmer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement server-powered gameplay features using proprietary server technologies for an Unreal Engine title.
- Collaborate with the tech and design teams to leverage online services platforms, ensuring the creation of secure, robust, and engaging multiplayer experiences.
- Develop and consume online REST APIs, and have a strong understanding of database systems, including scalability and data integrity concerns.
- Communicate effectively with the team, and have strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a desire to solve problems, even in other people's code.
