MAN Commercial Protection is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join their team at a busy Distribution site in Barnwood, Gloucester.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of duties, including:

• Reception duties, badge printing, area access, alarm monitoring, and CCTV investigations
• Controlling the access of visitors, staff, and contractors
• Internal and external patrols
• Following site procedures, reporting incidents and accidents to the customer
• Gatehouse duties, checking drivers' ID and vehicles
• Screening and search when required

Responsibilities

The Security Officer will be part of a team and will be expected to:

• Perform all duties in a professional and courteous manner
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Have a valid SIA guarding/Door Supervisor Licence
• Have a 5-year checkable work/education history
• Be competent in computer skills and have a good knowledge of computer systems
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be able to create comprehensive incident reports

Requirements
