Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations Account Manager to join our team. As a Public Relations Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering PR plans aligned with client goals and KPIs, cultivating and nurturing relationships with key media contacts, and identifying and capitalizing on news jacking opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver PR plans aligned with client goals and KPIs
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key media contacts
  • Identify and capitalize on news jacking opportunities
  • Provide support in new business endeavours
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of client accounts
  • Delegate, brief, and monitor the progress of direct reports
  • Conduct interviews and appraisals
  • Represent the agency professionally
Requirements
  • A minimum of one year of agency PR experience
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing skills and thought leadership
  • Strong media relations and familiarity with key media contacts
  • Understanding of new business processes
  • Proficient client management skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and a proactive attitude
  • Flexibility and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Familiarity with evaluation, measurement, and reporting systems
  • Excellent organizational skills
