Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Co-ordinator to join our Children's services team at Wokingham Borough Council. As the Co-ordinator for Children with Additional Needs, you will play a vital role in providing bespoke support to individuals who need help finding appropriate clubs and activities for their child, or training opportunities for parents/carers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Build relationships with providers of clubs and activities for children, young adults, and training/support for parents/carers.
* Promote information, advice, and support services available to parents, children, young adults, and others.
* Hold the Children's Disability Register, ensuring it remains relevant and fit for purpose.
* Develop and increase the number of places that the CAN card is accepted as proof of disability to access concessions.

Requirements:

* Educated to GCSE level including an English language qualification.
* Understanding of disability and additional needs.
* May require some evening and weekend work.
