Job Summary

Berry Global Group is seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Raw Material Stock Controller. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for controlling stock of our raw materials using our computer systems and monitoring and reviewing stock alongside investigating stock issues if required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure stocks of raw materials (master batch, polymer & cardboard etc) are accurate within the ERP system (Navision) when compared to physical stock holding on a timely basis.

• Support the teams to ensure batch traceability of raw materials meet BRC standards.

• Conduct regular stock counts and adjust the ERP system appropriately.

• Investigate stock discrepancies, understand the root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Monitor batch traceability information and help train/coach production team members in the correct completion of records where appropriate.

• Analyze data and produce reports on wastage, usage levels with costings when required.

• Seek innovative methods to increase stock accuracy or reduce wasted materials and production time lost to material shortages and implement any agreed solutions.

Requirements

• An extensive experience in raw materials and packaging used within our site is ideal.

• Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office systems, Excel is essential as is experience in using an ERP system, ideally Microsoft Navision.

• Experience of implementing and managing systems to enable more efficient working for all is desirable.

• To be able to work on your own initiative is essential.

• A logical thinker with a proven ability to investigate discrepancies and report back on findings including root cause and clear reasons.

• To be able to collaborate with people in other teams in the implementation of controls, processes, and processes to ensure that we mitigate against future errors is essential.

• Train the Trainer qualification/similar is desirable.

• Forklift & Electric Barrow License.
