About the Position

We are seeking a talented and dedicated computing lecturer to join our team at Regent College London. As a computing lecturer, you will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students. You will be responsible for teaching a variety of computing-related modules, developing and implementing new curricula and assessments, and engaging with stakeholders to promote our programs and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach a range of computing-related modules to undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Develop and implement new curricula and assessments, working closely with academic colleagues and industry partners
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues, providing guidance and feedback on their teaching and research practices
  • Engage with stakeholders, including industry partners, employers, and alumni, to promote our programs and services
  • Contribute to the development of innovative teaching methods and resources, using evidence-based approaches to enhance student outcomes
Requirements
  • Possession of a Master's degree in a relevant subject area, or equivalent professional qualifications/experience
  • Evidence of excellent teaching practice, as demonstrated through peer review, student feedback, or other assessment metrics
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality curricula and assessments, with a focus on student-centered learning and assessment design
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and external partners
  • Able to work independently, as part of a team, and demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in response to changing priorities and deadlines
