Midwife (Acute) Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Midwife (Acute) to join our team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our maternity services, you will be responsible for providing safe, clinically effective, and woman-centered care to pregnant women and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by example, develop others, and provide midwifery advice, support, and management services.
- Work flexibly across the service within differing models of maternity care, including continuity of carer.
- Deliver high-quality, effective, and compassionate care to women and babies whose needs are complex.
- Provide midwifery leadership and be accountable for the women, babies, public, and staff experience.

We are looking for a Band 6 Registered Midwife with demonstrable experience working in an acute setting. You will need to have a current and valid NMC pin, evidence of CPD, and a passion for providing high-quality, woman-centered care.
