As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and managerial leadership to the nursing and multi-professional team at our Centre of Excellence for Eyes.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as a clinical leader and expert practitioner, liaising, guiding, and advising the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimum patient care through the Ophthalmology Outpatients pathway.
- Regularly review clinical records of patients under your sphere of responsibility, evaluating the effectiveness of care planning and delivery, and using the results to work with the team to improve patient outcomes.
- Play a proactive role in quality and service improvement, working closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and multidisciplinary team to audit clinical standards of care within your clinical area.
