Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at HMP Bristol. As part of our primary care team, you will enjoy all the benefits of NHS AfC employment, including a pension scheme and career development opportunities.

As a Nursing Assistant, you will assist in the delivery of high-quality nursing care to patients in HMP Bristol, working closely with a registered nurse to provide physical care according to a written care plan. You will promote health and well-being through the delivery of health promotion activities and programmes, responding to patients' needs and assisting them to attain optimal physical health.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £21,400 - £26,580 per annum, plus benefits such as pension scheme and career development opportunities. The successful candidate will also receive training and support to enhance their clinical and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Previous experience in hospital or primary care settings
  • Knowledge of wound care and ability to take blood pressure and ECGs
