About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in Redhill, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and experience with container platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, and contribute to the success of our innovative initiatives.

The role will be based in our Redhill Office and you must be able to commute to the office 3 days per week. We offer flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions using AWS native services.
  2. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  3. Monitor system performance and reliability, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
  4. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps methodologies.

Requirements

  1. Considerable experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  2. Strong proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
  3. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  4. Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  5. Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
  6. AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus.
  7. Bachelors degree preferred in Technology or a similar field (or equivalent experience).
