About the Role:

TPF Recruitment is supporting a reputable, medium-sized chartered accountancy practice in need of a qualified Senior Accountant/Client Manager. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience in a general practice setting and be proficient in all aspects of accounts and taxation work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client portfolios across accounts and tax, with opportunities to get involved in technical advisory services.
  • Prepare and review accounts, corporate tax, and personal tax returns.
  • Advising clients on tax and advisory matters, and being their first point of contact.
  • Support clients with ad-hoc project work, such as consolidated accounts and cashflows.
  • Work closely with partners and the team to ensure clients receive the best service and advice.

Requirements:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 3+ years of experience in a medium-large independent practice, top 10, or Big 4 practice.
  • Competent in all aspects of accounts and taxation work.
  • Fully conversant with accounting and tax standards, demonstrating skilled commercial acumen.
  • Ability to prioritise, work on own initiative, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and knowledge of Iris, Sage, and Xero.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
