Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, approve, and maintain detailed product specifications, ensuring they meet customer requirements, relevant legislation, and company policies.
  2. Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to provide technical data and ingredient declarations.
  3. Ensure all product specifications are supported by validated claims, such as RSPO logo approval and Vegan Society certifications.
  4. Manage product pack copies, artwork, and ensure compliance with all legal and customer technical requirements.
  5. Present product specifications to customers during visits and audits, implementing corrective actions as required.
  6. Ensure Recipe Professor is updated with all necessary analytical and nutritional data to match product specifications.

Requirements:

  1. A food-related qualification or experience in a similar role.
  2. Strong knowledge of customer specification systems and food legislation (desirable).
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
  4. Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Experience using Excel and Word, and comfortable working with computer systems.
