Freelance Courier

As a Freelance Courier with Smiths News, you will be responsible for delivering newspapers and magazines to customers in the Exeter area. This role offers a unique opportunity to work independently while still being part of a leading brand in the wholesale industry.

We are seeking experienced drivers who can manage their own schedules and complete daily routes efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a valid UK/European driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle with a carrying capacity of between 700kg to 1050kg.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing newspapers and magazines at our warehouse
• Completing daily routes in the Exeter area
• Distributing newspapers and magazines to 20-30 customers per day
• Collecting returned items and recycling bags
• Scanning returned items upon return to the depot
