About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Therapist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Family Therapist, you will work with individuals, couples, and families to provide specialist assessment and clinical systemic formulation to address complex mental health needs.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate qualification in a relevant mental health/social welfare profession and demonstrable practice in this field. You will also have a Master's level qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy or equivalent qualification, accredited by UKCP.

As a Family Therapist, you will be responsible for providing specialist therapeutic interventions, drawing from a broad spectrum of systemic models, monitoring outcome and modifying and adapting interventions as necessary. You will also undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual clients and provide advice to other professions on psychological aspects of risk assessment and risk management.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in a relevant first profession (in Health and/or Social Care settings) and post-qualification experience working as a family/systemic psychotherapist in adult services. You will also have experience of working with, and addressing issues of, diversity, including experience of working within a multicultural framework.

We offer a competitive salary of £49,178 to £55,492 a year, pro rata, including HCAS. The contract is permanent, and the working pattern is part-time. Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant mental health/social welfare profession.
  • Master's level qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy or equivalent qualification, accredited by UKCP.
  • Significant experience in a relevant first profession (in Health and/or Social Care settings).
  • Post-qualification experience working as a family/systemic psychotherapist in adult services.
  • Experience of working with, and addressing issues of, diversity, including experience of working within a multicultural framework.
