Baines Simmons is seeking an Associate to deliver EASA / UK CAA / EMAR Part 21 Subpart G training to our global customer base. As a remote working opportunity, you will provide consultancy services to applicants and / or approved organisations, in both commercial and military domains. This role requires you to be UK based and willing to travel nationally and internationally.

Key Requirements:

· HNC/HND or degree in an aerospace subject or equivalent based qualification

· Detailed knowledge of the Part 21 regulations / requirements and their interactions

· A minimum of 10 years working within a production environment

· A detailed understanding of quality systems such as AS9100

· Strong interpersonal skills alongside a passion for the subject matter

· The ability to apply the regulations/requirements in a practical manner

· The ability to captivate and engage an audience

Desirable Skills:

· Previous experience of working within a training / consultancy environment

· Training experience

· Knowledge of Quality Assurance/Compliance Monitoring functions

· Experience of civil and military production domains

· Previous or current audit experience within the Part 21 Subpart G environment (regulatory, internal or supplier quality assurance)

· Comprehension of Aviation Safety Management Systems

· An insight and realisation of Human Factors and Human Performance limitations on personnel working within the production domain

· An awareness of the EMAR Framework in particular EMAR 21

· A holistic knowledge of all airworthiness domains

· A thorough understanding of Root Cause Analysis tools and techniques
