Job Summary:
ARV Solutions Contracts is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and constructing steel structures in the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop structural steelwork for various projects, including industrial, commercial, and leisure structures.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Prepare and manage CDM risk registers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Undertake design calculations, including connections, bolts, and welds, as well as linear and finite element analysis.
- Attend meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to discuss project progress and requirements.
- Develop operation and maintenance manuals for clients.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in an engineering discipline, preferably structural engineering.
- Strong understanding of bending moments, forces, linear, and finite element analysis.
- Ability to learn and use relevant software.
- Willingness to work towards Chartered membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary, ranging from £26,000 to £47,000 depending on experience.
- 25 days' holiday plus statutory days.
- Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
- Payment of IStructE membership fees.
