Key Responsibilities- Encourage individuals to participate in activities and follow their interests, including assisting them in the community and helping them attend appointments.
- Support individuals to be as independent as possible, whether this involves teaching them to cook or prompting them to develop personal care skills.
- Encourage individuals to follow their personal planned strategies to maintain their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
- Ensure all records are up-to-date and procedures are followed at all times.
- A good communicator and listener.
- A desire to support individuals with complex needs.
- Good basic comprehension of the English language, including basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- An ability to remain calm and level-headed even when faced with challenging behaviours.
- A commitment to providing the highest standards of care for the individuals we support.
