Job Summary:

William Scott Associates is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part Qualified Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the ongoing growth and development of our client, a dynamic and rapidly expanding Biotechnology company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Assistance with financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Coordination of financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Assistance with financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
  • Analysis of financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified accountant with a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial software, including Excel, and experience with financial planning and analysis tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
