About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our team as a Partner at Maddox Legal Limited.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and banking and finance.

As a Partner, you will be responsible for leading the Corporate team and advising clients on a range of corporate matters, including:

  • drafting and negotiating contracts and joint venture agreements
  • advising on mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and deal structuring
  • representing clients in private equity transactions, including fund raisings and exits
  • advising on banking and finance transactions, including debt and equity financings
  • advising on initial public offerings (IPOs) and bond issuances

You will work closely with our team of experienced lawyers to deliver high-quality advice to our clients and help drive the growth and success of the firm.

We are looking for a candidate who is technically excellent, commercially astute, and able to manage their own files and act autonomously.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a good understanding of cloud-based document management and time recording systems.
