Job Title: Small Ferry Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Small Ferry Engineer to join our team at CalMac Ferries Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of ferries, ensuring they are in good working order to provide safe and reliable transportation for our passengers and crew.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Machinery Maintenance: Ensure main and auxiliary machinery are properly maintained and serviced to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation.

2. Technical Support: Provide technical support to the crew and management team, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.

3. Safety Management: Ensure all safety systems, including fire detection, fire extinguishing, and fire main and pump systems, are functioning correctly.

4. Compliance: Comply with the requirements of the Company Management System (ISM Code) and ensure all necessary records and documentation are maintained.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications: Hold a valid STCW Chief Engineer III/2
