Job Title: Quality Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Leighton Buzzard. As a Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of quality inspectors and ensuring that quality tasks are accomplished on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of quality inspectors and ensure that quality tasks are accomplished on time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain regulatory, customer, and company requirements.
  • Ensure direct report adherence to plant policies and procedures.
  • Time keeping of direct reports.
  • Maintain training records for direct reports and area training matrix.
  • Continually improve the quality department.
  • Prioritization of inspections.
  • Participation in daily MRB meeting and quality clinic.
  • Ensure acceptable velocity through the receipt routing process.
  • Continual audit preparedness of area of supervision and direct reports.
  • Review, create, update control documents related to area of supervision.
  • Collaborate with other departments.
  • Assist with nonconformances, corrective actions, and customer complaints.
  • Returns process facilitation & management at the Regional Distribution Center.
  • Metrics & KPI reporting.
  • Customer Escape investigations and Corrective Actions.
  • Local QMS support.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A few years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational, verbal/written communication, and time management skills.
  • A good team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of First Article Inspection requirements.
  • Prior quality inspection experience.
