Base Location: Perth

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time

This is a shift position working day/backshift. Shift work will be applicable once training for the position is complete.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Transmission Control Engineer to join our growing team to help support our Net Zero Pathway to 2030.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordination of commissioning programs and operational data.
  2. Power system analysis of electricity flows.
  3. Ensuring the provision of appropriate SCADA displays and PSS/E models prior to network changes.
  4. In real time, commissioning and switching up to 400kV.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of an HNC in electrical engineering and ideally experience as a senior authorised person (SAP). You will have a relevant background in electrical power system operation.
  2. A flexible and proactive approach to work in order to achieve results and thrive under pressure.
