About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community Mental Health team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to adults with mental health needs in the East Barking and Dagenham area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care to adult patients with mental health needs
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
  • Work directly with adults and their families, and liaise with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals
  • Participate in the on-call rota, with a 3% on-call supplement
  • Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • CCT or equivalent
  • Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
  • Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
