Insurance Broker Specialist

Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Commercial Insurance Broker to join our team. As a key member of our brokerage team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure their insurance needs are met.
Main Responsibilities:
- Renewal Management: Take ownership of a portfolio of commercial insurance renewals, working closely with clients to understand their evolving needs and negotiate with insurers to secure the best possible terms.
- Commercial Risk Management: Provide expert advice on commercial insurance risks, including contractors and motor fleet, to ensure clients are adequately protected.
- Client Administration: Manage client relationships, including midterm alterations, policy changes, and renewal rebroking, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities for new business growth, working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
Requirements:
- Commercial Insurance Experience: Proven experience working in a commercial insurance brokerage environment, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance risks and products.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex commercial insurance risks and develop effective solutions.
