Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Vanta Staffing Limited. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food manufacturing plant by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with our team of multi-skilled engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform regular checks of the site, equipment, and manufacturing machinery
* Provide reactive and planned maintenance on food manufacturing machines, chillers, mixers, conveyor systems, and other equipment
* Manage and supervise a team of multi-skilled engineers
* Coordinate the team to ensure reactive maintenance is carried out in line with importance
* Ensure planned maintenance initiatives are carried out effectively
* Support all installations and projects on the fabric of the building

Requirements:

* Proven experience completing PPM and fault diagnostics for a food manufacturer
* Ability to read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, instructions, and software
* Experienced in successfully completing multi-skilled repairs in mechanical and/or electrical/electronic engineering environments
* Mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical engineering-based qualification
* Experience of working with manufacturing environments
* Highly focused on quality, safety, and managing the working environment
* Strong command of the English Language
