Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Complex Learning Difficulties

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Special Educational Needs Primary and Secondary School. The school caters for pupils aged between 4 – 19 years with Complex Learning Difficulties as a primary need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in creating a happy and comfortable environment for pupils.
  • Work closely with the class teachers and other Teaching Assistants to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Assist with the personal care needs of pupils, including feeding, changing, and manual handling.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with Complex Learning Difficulties.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
