Join Our Team as a Digital Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Digital Support Specialist to join our team at the Department for Work and Pensions. As a key member of our User Support Services (USS) Team, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch IT support to our colleagues and customers.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for delivering IT support across various channels, including face-to-face, phone, and digital platforms. Your primary goal will be to resolve IT issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring our users receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyse user feedback to determine the best course of action for resolving IT issues.
  • Provide first-time resolution by troubleshooting and diagnosing problems within established standards and guidelines.
  • Act as a Digital partner with our on-site teams, understanding their challenges and providing support.
  • Investigate and diagnose assigned issues, assist with known errors, and propose solutions to incidents.
  • Deliver coaching and guidance to end-users to enhance their digital confidence and get the most out of their devices and software.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You must also have a keen interest in IT and digital support services, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.

What We Offer:

As a Digital Support Specialist at the Department for Work and Pensions, you can expect a competitive salary of £29,500 per annum. In addition to your salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including annual leave, public holidays, and access to training and development opportunities.
