We are currently working with a reputable mainstream primary school in Hull to find a dedicated and empathetic Teaching Assistant, experienced in supporting children with SEN diagnoses. The successful candidate will provide 1-1 support for a pupil with high emotional needs, helping them navigate their day successfully and thrive in a classroom environment.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on a child's development. You will work from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, term time only. Your nurturing approach will be crucial in offering emotional reassurance, allowing the pupil to feel settled and engaged in their learning experience.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in providing this type of support and be available five days a week. Relevant qualifications include:

  • Previous experience working with children
  • Willingness to apply for a Child Workforce DBS
  • SEN experience
  • UK resident

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum. We offer exciting opportunities and free or discounted CPD courses.

In this role, you will support the individual pupil, assist with intervention work and manage behaviours across the classroom, ensuring all pupils meet their curriculum standards. This is a specific long-term role in a well-regarded school in Hull.
