Truck Service and Repair Specialist

Ford & Slater Limited is a family-run business employing over 900 staff across 16 locations in the UK. We are seeking a skilled Truck Service and Repair Specialist to join our team at our DAF Trucks Depot in Corby. The successful candidate will have experience working as a Heavy Vehicle Technician or Mechanic and be able to participate in breakdowns, follow company processes, and complete paperwork accurately. They will also be required to attend technical or development training as necessary.
The role offers a competitive salary of approximately £45,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as overtime at premium rates, excellent training and development opportunities, HGV driving licence training after a qualifying period, 22 days holiday (plus stats), rising to 25 days (plus stats) after 5 years service, employee assistance program, pension, death in service life insurance scheme, and cycle to work scheme. Additionally, we provide career progression opportunities and a supportive working environment.
