Daily responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in non-traditional HGV tasks, including loading and unloading as well as operating various types of material handling equipment across multiple sites
  • Transporting and retrieving manual handling equipment for our client, Toyota Material Handling
  • Keeping consistent communication with your home base, reporting any challenges that may occur
  • Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are equipped to manage and operate the diverse range of equipment

Qualifications for success at GXO:

  • A valid UK driving license with C+E category
  • A current Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • Possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Maximum of 6 active penalty points on your driving record
  • No serious endorsements (DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC, or TT99) with a conviction date within the last 5 years
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Material handling equipment licenses (preferred)
