**Job Title:** Expert Paediatric Dysphagia Therapist

**Estimated Salary:** £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Dysphagia Therapist to join our team at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will have expertise in assessing and managing dysphagia in school-aged children, as well as providing clinical supervision and training to junior therapists. You will also contribute to service development projects and participate in evidence-based practice reviews.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced therapist to work with a multidisciplinary team and make a significant impact on the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing specialist assessment, diagnosis, and intervention to children and young people with dysphagia
  • Leading on service development projects within the wider dysphagia team
  • Contributing to evidence-based practice reviews and implementing best practices
  • Providing clinical supervision and line management to other speech and language therapists
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Postgraduate paediatric dysphagia experience (4 years) including non-oral feeding
  • Experience in contributing to policy, planning, and service development
  • Ability to assess and manage dysphagia in school-aged children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
