Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Pro-Tax Recruitment. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing tailored tax advice and planning strategies, and preparing and reviewing complex tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert tax advice and planning strategies to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and review complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • HMRC Liaison: Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, resolving any issues or queries that may arise.
  • Legislative Compliance: Stay up-to-date with the latest tax legislation and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Proven experience in personal tax, ideally within a practice environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with the ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly.
  • Client Management Skills: Excellent client management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Team Player: A team player with a commitment to continuous professional development.
