We are seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team at Reed. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is eager to become a valued member of our professional team.
Key Responsibilities:- Reconcile approximately 300 accounts.
- Liaise with branches around the country to facilitate the booking of documentation.
- Ensure timely payments are made to suppliers to maintain smooth business operations.
- Manage payment runs both in the bank and within our systems.
- Create new supplier accounts on our systems.
- Continually update all relevant spreadsheets.
- Handle supplier queries and multi-currency purchase ledger.
- Collaborate with other accounts team members to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
- Strong Excel skills and an adaptable IT-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work hands-on and add value in a growing business environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a similar finance or accounting role is beneficial.
