We are currently seeking a Mechanical Specialist to join our client, a well-respected institution in Wigan, on a permanent basis.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Mechanical department in coordinating all aspects of the workshop, including health and safety, risk assessment, equipment maintenance, and material ordering and preparation. This is a stable and independent role, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping with preparation and maintenance of Workshop equipment
  • Working within a college environment
  • 37 hours per week

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Engineer with an NVQ 2 qualification, looking for a stable Monday to Friday role. They will have knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles and practices, with experience in a similar role.
