Job Title: Technical Training Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Training Lead to join our team at Galliford Try Holdings plc. As a key member of our Technical Services Division, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our technical training programs to ensure our employees have the necessary skills and competencies to deliver exceptional results.

About the Role

The Technical Training Lead will be responsible for assessing business needs, developing new or updated training content, engaging with trainers, and collaborating with our Learning and Development team to ensure our training programs meet industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess current technical training programs and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement new training content to meet business needs
  • Engage with trainers and subject matter experts to develop training modules
  • Collaborate with our Learning and Development team to ensure training programs meet industry standards and best practices
  • Support the development of digital training management platforms
  • Streamline processes for assigning staff to mandatory training modules and recording attendance
Requirements
  • CIOB, ICE, or similar professional membership
  • Design and operational delivery knowledge and experience
  • Industry knowledge across multiple construction sectors
  • Knowledge of industry quality standards requirements and best practice guidance
  • Practical application of construction delivery processes
  • Understanding of construction techniques, systems, and products
  • Understanding of client requirements and industry performance standards
  • Ability to manage and coordinate staff and resources
  • Good presentation skills
  • Ability to use Office 365 tools: Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
