About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to join our team at Coburg Banks Technical. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our residential care home, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the care home, ensuring all daily records and personal files are up-to-date.
  • Contribute to the development of an efficient care team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Hold regular health and safety meetings with staff, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Organize social and recreational events for residents, both within and outside the home.
  • Conduct annual personal development reviews and supervisions with all members of the care team.
  • Ensure the staff ratio is in line with legislative requirements, identifying training needs and developing relevant knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a residential care home for at least 2 years.
  • Experience of working with people with learning disabilities.
  • NVQ level 5 in leadership and care or working towards it.
  • Good leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Able to put the needs of others first, with a strong focus on resident care.
  • Good knowledge of CQC procedures and regulations.
