We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Podiatrist to join our team at NHS Borders. As a Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical care to patients and carers, while also contributing to the education and training of staff and other service users.

The Podiatry Service at NHS Borders serves a population of 110,000 people across a large, rural landscape in South East Scotland. Our team delivers outpatient clinics in various locations, including Peebles, Galashiels, Kelso, Hawick, Jedburgh, and Eyemouth. In-patient care and specialist multidisciplinary services, such as Diabetic foot clinic and MSK Podiatry, take place at the Borders General Hospital.

• Triage of referrals and assessment of diverse range of conditions
• Tailoring treatment plans to individual needs, focusing on supported self-management where appropriate
• Working between community outpatient clinics, in-patients, nursing homes, and patients' houses

• HCPC registration and degree or diploma in Podiatry
• Refined interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to collaborate with all staff and the public
• Valid UK Driver's Licence and access to a car for occasional travel across NHS Borders Primary Care sites
