Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate French Teacher to join our team at the Spencer Clarke Group. As a Full-time French Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

In this position, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles. You will also promote a love of languages and an understanding of French culture through innovative teaching methods and resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students.
• Promote a love of languages and an understanding of French culture through innovative teaching methods and resources.
• Monitor, assess and report on student progress, providing targeted interventions where necessary.
• Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and wider departmental initiatives.
• Support the school's ethos and values, fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in French or a related subject.
• A strong understanding of the French curriculum and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A commitment to raising standards and fostering a love for languages in young people.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £36,124 - £38,321 per annum, which includes 12.07% statutory holiday pay. Additionally, benefits include free parking and on-site parking.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with no weekends required. The ability to commute to Bradford, West Yorkshire is essential.
