Purchase Ledger Clerk Opportunity

Elevation Accountancy and Finance is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a reputable business in the Rotherham area on a temporary basis, with potential for permanency. This role will commence immediately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and match high-volume purchase invoices
  • Resolve queries and discrepancies
  • Set up and manage suppliers in accordance with company procedures
  • Ensure timely payment to suppliers and claim discounts where applicable
  • Process credit card transactions and generate cash/bank reports
  • Assist the finance team with various tasks and cover for other finance functions as needed
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a purchase ledger function
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
