Job Title: Derivatives Paralegal - Investment Management

About the Role:

The Stephen James Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Derivatives Paralegal to join their Investment Management team on a long-term temporary contract. As a Derivatives Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing expert support to the team in the preparation and review of derivatives contracts, as well as assisting with the administration of derivatives transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of derivatives contracts, including ISDA agreements and other related documents
  • Provide administrative support for derivatives transactions, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Collaborate with the Investment Management team to ensure seamless execution of derivatives contracts
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of derivatives products and market trends
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and procedures for derivatives administration

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background in law or a related field
  • Over 3 years of experience working in derivatives, preferably in an investment management firm
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
