Job Description:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a skilled Residential Support Coordinator to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of young people aged 13-18 years.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and empowering environment for young people to thrive, planning and facilitating engaging activities that promote learning and socialisation, and staying up-to-date with legislative requirements and industry standards.

You will work closely with local authorities/placing authorities to provide outstanding care, monitor and record young people's progress and achievements, and foster strong relationships with parents and carers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a supportive and empowering environment for young people to thrive.
  • Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote learning and socialisation.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislative requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor and record young people's progress and achievements.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to provide high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • A valid driving license is essential due to the rural locations of our homes.
  • Possess a genuine passion for making a positive impact on young people's lives.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for effective interactions with young people, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

The estimated salary range for this role is £29,000 - £39,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
