As a Senior Safety Consultant at Total Resourcing Limited, you will be part of a team supporting clients in projects involving new build, decommissioning, or ongoing operational facilities. Your role will be to provide safety cases and associated assessments, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard, timely, and in line with the agreed programme.

Key Responsibilities

The Principal Safety Case Specialist will be involved in various specialist tasks, including:

  • Developing and presenting robust and reasoned arguments in a rational and coherent manner
  • Delivering consultancy that meets and exceeds client expectations in terms of technical excellence and deliverable quality
  • Managing work as a project or technical lead, ensuring timely delivery within budget and agreed programme
  • Liaising with technical and commercial stakeholders to track progress and identify opportunities
  • Developing skills in growing projects and identifying opportunities with clients
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, science, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in engineering or technical specialist roles. A good understanding of the QMS, particularly 'Opportunity to Order' and 'Order to Project Completion' requirements, is also essential. Additionally, the candidate should have a good working knowledge of the NEC 3 contract systems and hold a minimum of 'SC' UK Security Clearance.
