Job Description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer (PLC Programming)

£50,000 - £55,000 + Company Car + Optional overtime + Private Medical + Progression + Training + Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a solid understanding of automation systems to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design, develop, and implement PLC programs for various automation projects, ensuring system functionality and troubleshooting issues.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for automation, and a desire to work in a progressive and supportive environment. You will collaborate with the engineering team to meet client specifications and deadlines, delivering projects with control software and process safety systems engineering design.

The Role:

  • Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for automation projects
  • Carry out full control systems design, complete all documentation, carry out site commissioning and provide post-installation support
  • Deliver projects with control software and process safety systems engineering design

The Person:

  • Experienced PLC Programmer with a solid understanding of automation systems
  • Previous PLC, HMI, SCADA software writing experience
  • Driving License
