Commercial Contracts Solicitor Opportunity

AJ Chambers is seeking a skilled Commercial Contracts Solicitor to join their client's dynamic team in Milton Keynes and Northampton offices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-contentious commercial contracts, with experience in areas such as agency, distribution, data protection, franchising, IT-related agreements, licensing, and intellectual property exploitation. Additionally, the successful candidate will have exposure to partnerships, LLPs, competition law, asset finance, and consumer credit.

The key skills required for this role include:

  • Excellent academic credentials and a strong ambition for career development
  • Good commercial experience, with a mix of corporate and commercial experience considered
  • Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills, with the ability to develop contacts for the team and the firm
  • Team player with the ability to fit into a friendly and busy team
  • Negotiation skills
  • Organisational ability
  • An eye for detail
  • Willingness to present to clients and contacts on key legal issues
  • Ability to work unsupervised, seeking assistance from other team members on more complex matters
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience
