We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Law Solicitor/FCILEx to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our Employment team, you will be responsible for advising clients on potential Employment Tribunal claims, running a caseload of Employment Tribunal claims, and supporting the team with non-contentious work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on potential Employment Tribunal claims
  • Running a caseload of Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting pleadings, drafting witness statements, negotiating settlements, and advising on settlement agreements
  • Complying with insurer service level agreements
  • Supporting the employment team with non-contentious work, including provision of contractual documentation, handbooks, and other employment documentation
  • Participating in marketing initiatives, including providing training sessions to clients
  • Billing and invoicing

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Fully qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FCILEx
  • A passion for employment law and for providing commercial and practical solutions
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Ability to take full responsibility for cases and strategy (subject to supervisory and group support)
