Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance and Operations Manager to join our team. As the key leader for our maintenance, repairs, and compliance teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that improve the lives of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance, repairs, and compliance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Manage the maintenance and repair of our 750+ properties, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Lead and inspire a skilled in-house team, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective financial management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing teams and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of the residential property sector and its challenges.
- Excellent budget management and financial planning skills.
- Experience in compliance and health and safety management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
