Our Institute is seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Driver/Instructor to train the next generation of truck drivers as a Permanent LGV Driving Instructor/Trainer. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for teaching and a desire to make a difference in the industry.

  • Held a Full C+E (Class 1) LGV Licence for over 2 years with no points or endorsements.
  • Ability to successfully instruct drivers through both Categories C (Class 2) and C + E (Class 1).
  • Previous instructing experience is desired, but not compulsory.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering all aspects of Driver Training to the armed forces, including:

  • Driver Training.
  • Tachograph Training.
  • Manual Handling Training.
  • Drivers' Hours Training.

What We Offer

This position offers a competitive salary of up to £28,250 per annum, plus a bonus. The working hours are 40-45 per week, providing a great work-life balance.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Full C+E (Class 1) LGV Licence with no points or endorsements, and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
