Job Title: Subsea Controls Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Subsea Controls Systems Engineer to join our team at Genesis, a global business unit of Technip Energies.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide input and expertise in the design, definition, and delivery of subsea control systems at all phases. This includes system design and package management for subsea control systems in traditional oil and gas projects and Energy Transition initiatives such as Carbon Capture and Underground Storage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Definition of subsea controls equipment and umbilicals and architecture for concept and FEED studies.
  • Contribution to the selection and options process for the initial field layout and architecture.
  • Undertaking specialist subsea control system studies for system expansion, life extension, fault finding and fault rectification.
  • Package management for the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
Main Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering subsea controls systems in accordance with project requirements, client design and engineering practices, industry standards and guidelines, and UK regulations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Strong experience in subsea controls design.
  • Good knowledge of subsea controls equipment, umbilicals, interfaces and key codes and standards.
  • Good knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Full command of English language.
  • Good computer literacy with competence in MS office software.
Salary and Benefits
